Coolest Countries in the World to Visit

We are obviously NOT encouraging anyone to travel now or discouraging social distancing. Have you been to any of these cool countries?

Yes. I went to Japan with my dad way back in 2012. It was actually my first ever trip outside my home country, Australia, and I loved every minute of it. Well, aside from how we got caught in a monsoon on our way to Tokyo from Nagoya and it made our bullet train so late it was past 11:30pm when we got there. Everything else was brilliant. The only odd thing is I remembered a memory while there which makes no sense, as, one day while walking through a suburban street, I was hit with a simultaneously vivid and vague memory of being a little kid happily running through that area. As I said before 2012 was literally the first time I left my home country in my life, so the memory of me being a child running through that specific area makes no sense. We'd originally planned on going back last year, but... well, I don't think I need to explain why that didn't happen. 🤞 we'll either be able to return next year or at least the year after that

Good suggestion, I love historical places too. Well just about every European country fits that criteria, I particularly enjoy Malta, Italy and Serbia. Beyond Europe I'd suggest Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Peru, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, China, Cambodia

Believe it or not, Bulgaria has about 6000 years of history! It’s a crossroads between Europe and Asia. The ancient cultures of Thrace, Greece and Rome all were there, then you have the 2 old Kingdoms of Bulgaria, their interaction with Byzantium, the Ottoman invasion, independence, both World Wars (picked the wrong side twice, ouch), and then the Iron Curtain. Now it’s trying to join the EU.

I’ve been to Havana in 2018, it was my first time outside of the US. It was amazing, and I recommend it to anyone, as long as restrictions aren’t put in effect again.

I’m Mexican and I would say that it depends on what part of mx you wanna go to. Northern states are generally more violent than central/southern states because they’re close to the US border were drugs are taken to and where most cartels are (for obvious reasons). Go to central/southern MX it’s where most of Mexico’s interesting or touristic places are anyways like Cancún, Acapulco, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, etc. I would suggest you to avoid cities/states near the US border.

Just went to South Korea and Japan. Japan is better, people are nicer, more to do and better sights. Korea, got catfished with my hotel, people are rude. Only positive your money goes farther only if you go away from tourist spots.

US is not very welcoming for Mexicans too lol there’s racist people everywhere. Even if you go legally they would tell you to go back to your country. I’ve lived in one of the most dangerous US cities and never felt welcomed and I was constantly thinking I would get robbed. In fact I regret living in the US, life is very depressing there.
