If I were a drummer, I would keep a freezer room in my house just to keep a drum set like this.
7 жыл бұрын
I want to be in that ice room so bad it looks awesome!
@KJensenStudio8 жыл бұрын
The drums sounded great, the drummer fine..but I assume the makers were Ok about him destroying the set when finished? Ice is temporary, after all, and it made for good Drama. Still, I cringed. :-D

@CatacombsBC I am not from sweden but i know a fact that there is a river in sweden soo fast and pure and unaffected by polution that the ice from that river is clear like glass becouse the speed of water throws the tiny air boubles out and that is why it is clear I've seen a show on discovery a long time ago maybe 6-8 years ago and people made an ice castle from that ice
@whitefox78415 жыл бұрын
thats freaking sweet i never knew ice could stand that much of a breating even though he wasnt hitting the actuall ice and i sure didnt think it could sound that good
@RoadRunnerLaser14 жыл бұрын
They are beautiful. I wonder if the guy who spent hours crafting a cymbal out of ice realised that it would just shatter the first time it was hit.

@kop300 That small block being lifted @ 0:28 is at least 8*8dm. It is also at least 1dm thick. If that block was made of water, that would mean a minimum weight of 64kg. Considering ice has got different density, it would have a minimum weight of approx 50kg. Good luck lifting 50kg of slippery ice. ;)
@v12tommy13 жыл бұрын
@CatacombsBC I will trade you. We have an ice show thing here called the Crystal Grotto at Beaver Creek ski resort. It has violins, bass, guitars, and blue man group like small instruments all out of ice. It is really cool, but that kind of music isn't my thing. I would love to see them build a drum set like this one. I am in the USA btw.
@RyGuy02914 жыл бұрын
why, out of the WHOLE solo, did they choose to put in a part where he drops a stick at 1:16?

wow, i wonder what those cymbals sound like =D
@666godofmetal13 жыл бұрын
@xSeDxReaper no, i haven't. as you can see, they've got rough edges, meaning they were rushed through to make. it's no different than wood carving which i have done a lot of. the only thing you would need is to acquire blocks of ice, which would be minimal cost.
