Is Timeworn Wayfarer In The "Must Craft" Category??

Another echos weapon review. Timeworn Wayfarer is unique and powerful. Even if you have similar combinations it is worth getting. In this review I talk about what I recommend crafting and I didn't craft Heal Clip + Incandescent. I feel there is a better option. PvP wise, it's SO fun to play with and I have some tips to give you more success with it.

This gun is a great example of why I want crafted guns with double perks. Like I really don’t want to have two versions of this gun for a shoot to loot or heal clip. It would be so nice to have both on this gun

They should allow the double perks if we either get 10 red borders or instead we hit weapons rank 60 for example. Would mean you either grind for the drops or grind by using the weapon to achieve the extra perk slots. Sounds high as well bit bungie won't give you double/triple perks on craftable weapons unless it's hard or "grindy".

I believe the devs have said before that although they would like to have this functionality, the game’s engine unfortunately can’t support it. While we do see double enhanced perks on things like shiny BRAVE weapons and master dungeon/raid content, those are static and that’s why they can exist.

@@jpmorgan6146 That's a good question. Maybe it's just sour grapes from a guy who can't hang in Trials, but I sincerely think the Wayfarer is better. I've wanted an Immortal, a Shayura's, a Summoner, or an Igneous for a while. Never wanted a Prophet. My Wayfarer tears it up in quick play and IB.

@@iponce2 I loved the idea of that. I have a Wolftone Draw with Impulse and Dragonfly and a Glissando with reconstruct/hatchling, both of which basically fulfill the same roll. You know, I really think it's the iron sights on the cowboy rifles that I can't get past.

Does prometheum spur have any interaction with phoenix dive? I want warlock exotic legs that let you burst upward into the air if you use dive while grounded. Gives you radiant, cure 1, and short song of flame timer. It’s been my dream solar warlock exotic since forever.

since Shoot to Loot can pick up orbs and this gun makes the radiolaria pools on double kills in pvp, Shoot to Loot refreshes your radiant every time you get a double kill if you have Radiant Orbs from the artifact. plus with Recuperation and Better Already on the legs, that makes up for not having heal clip a little. so i think there's play to running Shoot to Loot/High Ground for pvp on any Solar or Prismatic class

I personally like to use it with the Strategist Incandescent paired with Promethium Spurs. It's the one Solar weapon that completes it and makes it useful. It makes you a form of support with a healing and empowering your allies from a distance. Only wish Bungie lets you trigger its effect without being in a healing rift but what can you do. I know that exotic is completely bad but it's fun with the right weapon and this weapon makes it shine*

Something that you can do and this is a legitimate playstyle: glacier grenade on stasis and prismatic titan with this gun and high ground. Throw the grenade on a wall high on any map. Congrats you have the high ground. Very fun and different way to play. Couple of other things: 1. Enhance dual loader on this frame reload 4 shots from 2. Very cool basically negates the long reload of this frame. 2. It is so sad that there will be people who dont try this gun out just because it is a scout rifle.

I have like 5 of these crafted because it does a lot of things well and has very unique perks. Dual loader is extremely underrated, and yes. It does work how you expect it would, and the enhanced works too. You gain so much reload speed, it unbelievable. 4 rounds per reload

Heal clip incandescent is so much better on this that most of the other guns with it. Keep away high ground is my pvp roll too which melts in multiplex and most of the new maps

I've been doing really well in Iron Banner this week using the new Stasis AR Veiled Threat. There is something about that weapon that makes it feel so good to use. Not much recoil, fires straight as an arrow, sticky head shots.

Fav moment from this last banner. I got a nice flank on 3 ppl while the hunt was on, was able to lay all 3 down before I was even at half health. Pure dopamine drip! This has become one of my favorite pvp guns. I don't even know what perks the gun has because I'm new, but this has been the perfect follow up to my auto rifle for that high damage shot after the enemy takes cover and re-peeks.

When the pattern unlocked for this weapon, I started with a Keep Away/Precision Instrument MW handling roll for PVP. I'm going to try the High Ground roll with heal clip, Strategist, or To the Pain.

I brought this into an expert season activity with Dual Loader + Incandescent, on average it took maybe 5 shots to kill a goblin. ~3 with solar surge x3 and radiant.

Nice to know that this can sorta work like a Shoot to Loot/Kinetic Tremors weapon in the energy slot and craftable. That is a pretty big deal. Also tried a roll of this with Dual Loader. Not super flashy but will say there is something about loading 3 rounds into the mag at a time.

Why add range for pvp..base drop off is 78m. Barely any maps have lines further than that. You can still get a 3 shot kill at 92m at any resil. Small bore + accurized adds five meters.

It was definitely a must have for me. Enhanced Dual Loader(or heal clip)/Incandescent feels so good in PvE. PvP this surprised me a lot. I've been having a lot of fun with Heal Clip/Opening Shot. Using it with might Speakers Sight build and Ember of Benevolence. Constant heals.
