Cooling Tower/Systems issues. Scaling, Biofilm, Foling, Corrosion

During operation of cooling tower/systems some problems occur due to improper water chemistry, and operation control. These problems are scaling, corrosion, bioffilm and fouling in systems parts. these are some time become severe problem and cause big damage if not controlled properly.

Great vid! can you explain more about why biological growth increases scaling? I thought it's depend on the solubility of dissolved minerals alone. Thanks!
