I was lucky enough to get a glue press when they first came out. So glad I did. Great helper for my arthritic hands. Never had it stop up. I wipe the tip and the stopper with my finger when I’m done and it’s all set.

I have had trouble using the glue holder. It always gets stopped up. I finally put in the closet. If there is something I am doing wrong I wish I knew. The squeeze handle feels great. Thank you for your video.

Is the tip coming in contact with the pink squishy area inside the holster? Are you replacing it every time rather than placing it on your desk? I get a tiny bit of dry glue at the tip sometimes when taking the gun out of the holster but it removed easily and I've not ever had a clog. Just trying to trouble shoot it for you. I want you to love your product :-)

For the paper cutter, I find with some models I have to sort of push the handle to the side to get a good cut. I had a small one that the arm became loose and the only way it would cut was to press it against the base as I was lowering the arm. I hope this makes sense! Which do you prefer, the sponge brushes or the hair type brushes? Also, what do you mean by hybrid ink? I’ve heard of dye, pigment, stazon and distress/ distress oxide but not hybrid. Does a certain company make them? Thanks! 😊

You're totally making sense about the trimmers :-) as for brushes they both have their purposes but I do tend to like the hair type best. As for inks, Hybrid inks are a combination of dye and pigment they can be used for both alcohol and water based techniques. They do not blend as well as dye based inks though but work well with BetterPress. They were quite popular years ago but not many companies carry them now. I have the full set of LDRS Creative inks as I design for them and I use their inks with their dip and dab ink pouncers for stenciling and background and also BetterPress plus all other sentiments etc

Sweetie, I am so on the fence about the glue gun. I want it but then I think, why, because I use Art Glitter Glue which I think is identical to Bearly glue and it has a fine tip so what is the purpose other than not having to squeee the bottle. I feel that the Nouvo glue is alright but no better than any other and it is expensive. I wish My Sweet Petunia made the holder so that you could use a round bottle of glue so you could use glue of your choice because although I know that it has a empty bottle, you have to take your existing glue and squeeze it into the empty bottle and that just doesn't make sense to me and it gets messy. I am still on the fence. I used it once because I thought I could not live without it but not I am not sure. I do not have strength in my hands at all so a lot of the glues are hard for me to squeeze so I know that would be the actual reason to buy it. Gheeze...Just buy the darn thing Sharman. Ha Ha...

I love you talking your thought process out with me. I find the Barely Art and Art Glitter Dries Clear Nearly the Same as well. The Nuvo is just a little slower to dry so it gives you a little more time to wiggle around but I love all three and would recommend them all and trust them all for longevity which is important to me. I really truggled with the pin to be honest with you and that is what this has solved with me. Never having to put that darn pin in the tip is what has SOLD me on it. That and I do a TON of gluing and I tended to forget to put the pin back in and I always dealt with clogs. So now I do not have to worry about that. 2 weeks now and no clogs or pins. :-)

Thank you my friend, I always know you will tell the truth good or b😅ad and that is really important. My favourite is my glue press from my sweet petunia as well. I tend to just use my bearly arts glue, but did not know nuvo glue takes a little longer to dry as I struggle getting my layers good in one go. I will try this. I also use my mini daubers on my press plates to prevent harsh lines, they work really well. Can you use the same tools for oxides and hybrid inks?Thank you xx

Hi Sandra, I am glad you found this info helpful. I am using the oxides and Hybrids with the same tools as they both have some pigment properties in them. Oxides are a form of Hybrid just with different water based qualities about them. So I am using my sponges interchangeably between them. I just pounce or brush off the previous ink onto a paper towel before going to the next type of ink. I hope this helps!
