Jennifer, I just watched the 3rd lesson and downloaded the Cricket Kickoff Workbook. Wow the video was so helpful and the Design space desktop canvas is going to be a great resource. I printed one out for me and one for my husband. One thing that I didn't see answered in it but it may be in the "Cricut Coach Playbook" but I haven't got to it yet. I made some labels for my craft room ( ok ok OUR craft room) storage bins with print and cut but when I went to the cricut ,it not only cut around the labels but also cut around each letter! I attached the text to the label but think maybe I needed to weld it too?? Thank you in advance for the help.

Suggestion for the Cricut programmers. Since the software knows that you put a pen in A, it should be able to tell you to remove it when the design is finished, and not let you continue until the pen is removed. Love your videos

When making something with text that's centered, where any of the lines may end with something like an ellipsis or question mark, do you include that part in the "center horizontally"? Or do you let the ellipsis/question mark "hang", only aligning the text itself horizontally, since it gives more of an optical alignment? I'm new to this, but can't find any recommendations one way or the other about this.

It depends on what you want it to look like. You can try it and if you don't like it you can undo it.

Editable images in Cricut Design Space typically refer to text that you can modify. If you are not seeing editable images, make sure you are looking for text-based designs. You can only edit the text on editable images. If you are not seeing phrases, try using the search function within the images section. You can type in keywords like "phrases" or specific words you are looking for. Also, make sure to use the filter options to narrow down your search. Remember that some images and phrases might be part of the Cricut Access subscription. If you do not have a subscription, you might not have access to all the available content. If you attach items, they will all be the same color. If you have design items, even if grouped, but they aren't attached, they will cut separately, not as you have them grouped on the canvas.
