Coolster Chinese ATV won't turn over or crank (no fire)

My kid's Chinese 110 ATV (Coolster) wouldn't start when I turned the key and hit the switch, even though the brake was engaged and the it was getting power. I could even short it out to jumpstart it, so that proved the battery was good. It ended up just being one loose cable on the ignition switch. Hopefully this will help someone else... I got lucky finding it!

Mate you don't know how much money and time you have just saved me didn't realise about that until I had to put my brake in with my clutch to start it how something so easy can be such a headache

heygreene amps measure current (flow of electricity) and voltage is supplied electricity.

@@tazxboxgaming7638 for me it was the starter but it could be the starter if not make sure everything is plugged in and cleaned off as the video says and make sure the battery is good and charged lastly make sure the selenoid is any good. Let me know if the starters works for you I wish you luck💯
