Thank you John! The media is horrible, I’ve known this for about 17 years when my cousin was murdered and the story in the paper/news was wrong and fearful. I wrote to person who wrote it and gave them the correct information and I never heard back from them. The news wants us to live in fear. Jesus is the way.🙏🏼💕

06:40 As a former officer, we are trained to use varying degrees of force. We only have so many forms of non-lethal methods of detainment and furthered resistance makes each on of them as dangerous as lethal force. We use billy sticks to twist body parts, stun guns and pepper spray, rubber bullets, can use physical force. 1. Suspects refusing arrest often interlock their hands under the bodies. It is almost impossible to break without taking a billy stick and using it as a lever against their bodies. The issue: it can cause bruises, break ribs, arms, and wrists. Perps will claim they were hit with them after the fact and use the brusing as evidence, whether they were beat or not. 2. Stun guns and pepper spray can cause heart attacks and respitory failure in a certain percentage of people. And then police never hear the end of it. 3. We don't have rubber bullets around here, yet, but they have been known to cause live fire to be returned 4. A knee to the upper back below the neck is the way I was showed how to physically detain someone bigger than me. As with Floyd, it can cause respitory and heart failure if a suspect continues to fight because what the holds are supposed to do is quickly fatigue muscles of suspects quickly, but not officers.

This was a powerful message that I have been want to hear ever since these protests have started and what I have been telling my coworkers about too. Though it’s sad to see this happening, even my dad remembers those kinds of things when he was young. I find it very interesting that people use the phrase “fear of police” as a means of doing what they say. I think a HUGE problem with what is going on today is people are being controlled by fear. We should obey the police because they hold a position of authority and because that position of authority commands our respect but we should not be fearful of the police. Police are human just as we all are and they don’t want fear-driven responses to their presence...that leads to more trouble than good. If you are a law-abiding citizen, you should have no reason to fear the police or their interaction with you. Jacob Blake, George Floyd, Rayshard Brooks, all of these guys were criminals engaging in criminal activity. I would encourage you to go watch some officers analyze especially the Jacob Blake shooting and hear them explain from their perspective why they shot him like they did. Police shoot until the threat is no longer a threat. All he ever had to do was stop and listen but he didn’t. 7 shots seem like a lot to us but if that’s what it takes, then that’s what it takes. There were so many people and children around that whole situation and Jacob Blake places all of those people in danger by refusing to yield. And yet people want to paint him as a good person. That doesn’t sound like a good person to me.

Me too. I had so many nightmares of your city covered of lava by those bad people and everyone was dying and things got burned down. Also they exploded the whole city with bombs then covered all the roads and streets with lava and fire. Then in the nightmares your house got covered into lava then you guys had no idea what to do then you people died from explosions and lava burns from the bad people.
