Sometimes, we just get stuck in a house and can’t afford to change finishes. Picking a color that works “ok” but that you actually LIKE makes a huge difference! Love how you show the undertones, thank you!

Compliments on this video. Your approach is a bit unique vs. other KZbinrs and I appreciate that you take your time explaining undertones. Helps anyone to at least begin to gain the confidence to make their own decisions when coordinating with existing hard surfaces. Please consider a future video contrasting 8 paint choices with a few of the most popular carpeting or laminate floorings!

Hi Kylie! I’m so glad you’re making videos on here again! We’re redoing our kitchen and installed white cabinets, Taj Mahal countertops with aged brass hardware. The dining area connected to the kitchen has large built-ins painted Felted Wool with north facing light. Do you think Edgecomb gray would work on the walls, or would it read pink? Or…would a different color be better?

This is a video that will help a lot of people. That being said, blue grays like Kyrpton and North Star are my jam. Krypton with light beige tile reminds me of a nice midtone wash pair of jeans and a comfy beige sweater. A perfect balance for me, but whatever floats your boat.

It's so true! I actually love some of the blue-grays too, like BM Marina Gray and Adagio - GOOORGEOUS!

Hey kylie our exterior is high reflective white with a brick skirting called "walnut creek brick" thats neutral browns with tiny areas of faint black and grays. Would u do shutters in evergreen fog, escape gray, or aggreable gray?

Thank you for sharing so much knowledge in your videos!!! I’m hoping you may be able to help me?!?! I’ve been stumped for months…. My new countertops that are quartz in MSI’s color: “Artic White”, which is a solid white. I’d really love your thoughts on a kitchen cabinet paint color in a warm greige (similar to Edgecomb Grey) or maybe something more bold, as long as it coordinates with my walls being painted in a warm white either SW Greek Villa or BM White Dove, a similar paint color to my countertops. Medium toned wood flooring, And my front doors are West facing and I get tons of natural sunlight from both east & West. If you can send me a couple ideas, that would be amazing!!!! Your expertise would seriously go a long way!!!!! Thank you again!!! ❤

I don’t get a lot of natural light and I have warm finishes, but I am always drawn to those icy cool grays. Need something to make the house feel brighter. Uggh I need help or more money to change my finishes. 😂

Any way you can use brighter, warmer colors for your finishes and then accent with DARKER, cooler colors???!!!
