milwauke cops were insanely apathetic and/or incompetent back then. they ignored numerous complaints and tips from his neighbor for years that something horrible was going on in dahmer's apartment. it was a poor neighborhood and citizens more or less had to fend for themselves.

@@BettyJane2023i agree I’ve been through hell and back, I’m only 26 but I don’t dwell on the things that happened to me I look forward to the things that are happening for me like I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby I got an adorable puppy named Honey and a elderly sweet cat named Baby, I got the close people who care about me, I got a lot to look forward to, who cares about what happened in the past, people who use that as an excuse is crazy to me, I look at it as it shaped who I today, I wouldn’t have the same outlook on life and be as strong as I am. I’m currently in a human trafficking case I was a victim of a few years ago, I don’t let it affect me, don’t let it cause me nightmares I don’t think about it! Things happen, you move on. 😊

2:18-2:37 🎯💯. I LITERALLY have said that for years about Lionel, the father. I remember this in the news very well as a kid, and given the magnitude of what his son did, I always have thought it was beyond bizarre how nonchalant he seemed in all interviews.

I actually think the dad was smart to keep his cool, you sure ain't getting anything from your son, let alone a criminal if you freak out. Keeping your cool is not the same as agreeing with someone but it does create an environment ripe for answers and conversation.

I read Jeffrey Dahmer's book titled monster. And I can't get over how macabre and ghastly the book was. Some of the things most of the things in there are so explicit and so dirty it's hard to get over.
