@@SarthorS That's a cynical way to flip it. You could be even more cynical and question the motives of these involved. It's a meeting exclusive to millionaires and people motivated by money, wealth and property. You could come to the conclusion as many have, they are simply motivated by greed and are simply finding creative ways to justify ever increasing taxation. Which you certainly can back up looking at their previous patterns of behaviour. The rich have benefitted the most by ransacking the earth for resources to sell. The Oil industry particularly. Is it not right that they should shoulder a large/larger proportion of the cost of resolving the problem of our damaged environment. Why is the solutions these rich people come up with always involve squeezing more cash from those already entrenched in poverty? I do personally believe some of the science. Fore sure. @@paulgibbons2320 I don't necessarily disagree with you, and I'm not being cynical. I just tend to see the flaws or falsehoods in things people say. If they have a good enough answer to the problems I point out, backed by real evidence, then I won't help but agree with them. This rarely happens though. I mean, it's the internet. Most people just post the first thing to enter their head, or worthless talking points, without giving it any actual thought. Your reply is, at least, coherent. Those with wealth and power have always controlled the world, and even with democracy, it's still true to a great extent. I do agree with you that these sort of people are the ones most responsible for the climate problem. But I also know that your and my opinion are utterly worthless and will have absolutely zero impact on the course of events.
