Honestly I am European and very much pro ecology. But how on earth can I accept to pay 300 billions knowing that China is counted as developing country… and hence i) not paying anything ii) receiving money from Europe iii) polluting more than everyone else iv) being significantly richer than Europe…. This is crazy… the priority is NOT to give money but to put pressure on US/China/India to stop polluting. This should be the only focus of the COP 🤦😓

@ so to be honest, large part of the contributions still go to the countries that deserve it. And China has a few eligible projects that indeed make sense… but yes this is a bit cray… I feel we have lost the real objective the COP which should be to urgently reduce the CO2 emissions… looks now just like a fight to get money / compensations without clear commitments so far… just buy real estate in « cold » regions far from the sea, that’s the only future proof advice I have now 😂
