When I read "The first football tycoon" I expected/hoped it to be a game where you are the football CEO instead of the manager... got me very excited. Still, this also sounds like a fun spin on the football genre... I am just really curious about the long term gameplay. Do you basically run a CL final? Or a World Cup? What happens after this event ends? Do you only play scenario's? Is there a career where you start managing the events around the 200 supporters of the local team against the next town over?

I've played about 100 different football related games since first playing CM2 back in the early 90's so I'll be getting this but I don't hold much hope to be honest as i think it will be very uniform and boring, hoping it proves me wrong but I'd be suprised if every play through isnt exactly the same with a "correct" way to do it, making every playthrough for every person the same experience. Apologies to the devs if I am incorrect on this, I truly hope I am as a good, variable game like this could be my holy grail, a world builder football sim combo? Sign me the fuck up.
