From a Palace fan point of view I love our rivalry with Brighton also I can say a few things I love about our rivalry and Brighton 1) Glenn murray and what he done for us 2) fact we have a charity match against them which I know is more for Brighton but I still like the fact we play them 3) Brighton is a pretty nice are 4) on non match days i find a lot of Brighton fans are actually nice people 5) the fact we beat them in the playoffs years ago

Many older Palace fans don't see this or recognise this as a rivalry between the South coast club. Our nearest rivals are obviously Millwall which is 5 miles away. When you look at the borough boundaries they over lap each other at certain points of South East London. Like many Palace fans, including myself, I have family and mates who follow Millwall, the same goes for Millwall who have family members and mates who follow Palace. If you talk about rivalry, Palace have that with Charlton who are 8 miles away from Selhurst.
