Feeling out-priced by Premier League and Championship football, the supporters of Eastbourne Town FC have formed the Pier Pressure Ultras.
This new approach to fan culture emerging out of the Non-League of English football represents and exciting shift in fan culture. Through an inclusive, anti-racist, anti-sexist, and pro LGBTQ philosophy they are building a new football community.

I was part of Chichester City FC's coaching staff, last season. We went to Eastbourne Town on the last game of the season (the game footage in the video, funnily enough!) and lost. The atmosphere was like nothing I had experienced all season, even at Chi's ground. It was even intimidating at times due to the level of noise and chanting, which just doesn't happen at this level. Props to them!

The belief that ultras are fascist or far right is something that needs to be stamped out, most ultras groups in Europe are not fascists or racists, may are on the left wing side of things, like Marseille, PSG, plenty in Germany, Celtic etc.

Ultras come in many political varieties, Celtic, St Pauli, Marseille are left and yes there are far right ultras look at Lazio, Zenit or Beitar Jerusalem but non political ultras also exist.

Watching this from Serbia it just strikes me how insanely high ticket prices are all acros English football, like the guy said you can get this experiance for £6 end it's NINTH TIER, meanwhile in Serbia my team Partizan Belgrade (biggest in country, regularly in top2 of Superleague) sells seasonal tickets starting from as little as £15. Sonny Martin technically its still possible but no i really don’t. They’ve used different colors in the promos consistently and they’ve never really acknowledged that STLFC and the 5000 fans who show up every week even exist. Also MLS is VERY heavy handed in team names and colors and that kinda stuff so I’m REALLY worried. I personally won’t support it unless the colors are green and blue, it’s called something similar to Saint Louis FC, and we have a fluer de lis⚜️ on the crest. I’ll just go watch our 5th division team Club Athletico St. Louis🤷🏽‍♂️

I'll be honest, I never thought St Louis needed an MLS team. I was introduced to St Louis FC in 2018. And still haven't had the opportunity to go to a game (have watched some streams). If it's true that US soccer is trying to structure their game after English Football tiers, I don't see why they don't just keep St Louis FC as a team to invest in.

Went to watch the team I played under 16 for (horsham fc) against these lots the atmosphere was crazy really nice people aswell were very respectful. Cleaned up after themselves and didn't give any shit to the other people watching

I actually think it is not so much that they want to have them, it is more a matter of they can't really ban them unless they cause trouble...that and with the low attendance they get to those games, the ticket sales to the ultras are really a life preserver. The take I got from the interview with the club's secretary is he is not quite sure what to make of them really.

The take I got from the Derby Days of the two clubs as well as interactions with both sets of fans is the REASON FC St. Pauli calls Hamburg a "right wing" club is simple. If a bunch of Far Right Ultras tried to join with St. Pauli, it would not be tolerated in the terraces, you know it and I know it. However, in St. Pauli's eyes Hamburg actively tolerates it. So, you might not be a Nazi or a right winger even as a HSV fan...but if the people around you are chanting something like that, you get lumped in to outsiders. Rightly or wrongly, that is just a fact of human nature.
