Just watched again Mick, the old gal seems to go ok and was surprised the brakes weren't seized up after sitting all that while, looks like that oil filter was a right pita to get at, I'm sure the manufactures make these service part hard to replace so you have to get it done at a dealer 🤬 great instalment mate and look forward to the next 🤗🙏👍

Yes John, it pulls like a train, these modern diesels are just as quick as petrol now. I'd be happy not to change one of those filters again, not kind on the old back.

Yeah the newer diesels are good, I had a 2006 Mondeo ST TDCI 2.2 and that thing was very fast bought it when it was 1 year old and sold it in 2015 when my wife passed but that car was never any trouble passed every MOT first time. Got a Merc SLK 2015 and again never had any issues.

Even for a diesel it pulls well....diesels pull better than petrols ..much more torque..
