That’s what a project is for ! Make sure you try and get all them metal bits out of the lower end of the engine !! Do a flush or two ! That motor is deff still good with a new oil pan and belt tensioners and pulleys ! Big love and respect from Baltimore !

I recommend stay away from copart Copart overcharges on fees I bought a crashes yukon for a LS motor swap I win the bid at $325 after all there bullshit fees it came out to $1000 I ended up paying more in fees then the actual bid and I’m a dealership I started off buying cars from copart to fix and flip but the process of getting them fixed plus them getting them inspected then waiting 2 months for a savage time is not worth it at all in the end you’ll end up spending what a clean title vehicle is worth not to mention the process you’ll go through to get it back on the road I now go to DAA for dealership the best decision I’ve made

Not tryna give u bad news bro but I’m pretty sure your transmission housing is gonna be broken and your engine is gonna be all broken from the front timing it’s gonna need a motor n transmission. I bought a charger that was wrecked just like your Durango and the bumper reinforcement was bent back just like yours and soon as I saw that Durango I said dammm. So the charger I bought ended up with a broken trans housing and broken engine the timing was all messed up when I started it it was running like crap and backfiring and it wasn’t as bad as yours it only had a broken idler pulley. I ended up fixing the car anyway as far as body and paint and traded for a 2012 infinity qx56 n sold that for 11k so I got my money back but wasted a lot of time and money it was my worst flip ever. But you learn from experience it’s the only way you learn no one is gonna teach you that u gotta get out n do it and know what your doing as well gotta know how much u gone spend before u even buy it it’s all about numbers
