The 68-72 Chevy trucks are great old trucks. I had a 1975 GMC stepside. I lowered it with air assist for adjusting levels, did a custom paint job on it to match my race boat, put true spoke rims with low profile tires on it, put a 365 hp corvette engine in it with an automatic / overdrive, and redid the interior to make it comfortable and convenient for long trips. I loved it. I had it for many years! I used it mostly to tow my race boat all over the country and hundreds of trips to the colorado river, in Parker AZ. It would cruise across the desert towing the boat at 105 mph as smooth and straight as can be. This was back in the old days, try it now and go to jail. LOL! That Honda CRV looks like a good one! They run forever, that is barely broken in at 150k. If you can get it for a decent price it would be a great daily for anything but towing something heavy.

Hey randy. I doubt you’ll read this but I’m 15 and I’m restoring my grandpas 1969 c10, same body style as the 71 in the video. I’ve engine swapped it and trans swapped but I just wanna say, they’re amazing platforms to work with. So many thing you can do to them and parts are super cheap

I had a 2006 CR-V and for ten years it did not ever give me any problems nor did it leave me stuck on the road. All I did was take good care of her with a change of motor oil every time when reached 3,000 miles or three months whichever came first. when it reached 30,000 miles I trade her for my dream car a 2010 SS Camaro.

The "no fuse" is a transport fuse (main fuse box under hood look for a fuse with a yellow clip around it) pull it up to keep any accessories from draining the battery when it sits for an extended period of time. They come from the factory with it pulled out.

I have a small argument about not caring for your vehicle...... Some people do their own maintenance work on their car because they can’t afford to take it to the dealership to get work done to it. So they’ll do the maintenance themselves but they won’t have any records to show it was done

That noFUSE code is related to the "Ignition Off Draw" Fuse, had it happen on a friends wrangler before. It's a fuse that cuts off all power draw from the battery, just replacing it or taking it off and putting it back on fixes it. I'd bid on that Jeep!

www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-electrical-lighting-sound-systems-13/no-fuse-error-message-resolved-131317/ "Well folks, it was the IOD (Ignition Off Draw) Fuse. I checked it, reseated and it worked. Unseated it and duplicated my problem. I have driven this thing since Jan of 07 so I am a little surprised this was it... Anyway, for those of you who may be wondering, this is a fuse that the dealer pulls while it is sitting on the lot or sitting in transit from the factory that removes all power draw from the battery."

Most trucks like the C10 you cannot open the hood with one hand, sometimes you have to pop the front of the hood with your hand for the latch to release while holding the latch release, especially on a crusty truck.

Totally agree the only trade that gets a bit of a pass on the vehicle condition are concrete / asphalt guys. Other then that if you come looking for my money you better be neat and tidy and look after your vehicle, tools etc. Totally with you on the thought.

I would bid on the red truck and the Honda. Both look like good quick flips. The Jeep though, not so much. It'd sell really well. But unless you could somehow win it for the right price, someone with deeper pockets will likely snatch it away.

Sometimes, or even most of the time, people would love to be able to shell out the cash to keep there car tip top, but most of us don't have that option, you can't justify saying a car was unloved, when simply it was un-maintained
