Love it. Damon Albarn's mum's family have heritage in Denmark. As well, Damon's paternal line is from Leicestershire, an area of Anglian and later, Danish settlement. They can't tell a first wave Angle apart from a later wave Danish Viking by DNA in England. This is music echoed across the coastal North Sea area and through the coastal North Sea Germanic-Scandinavian people. The other guys in Blur are from the South of England but the drummer also has the northern roots (Yorkshire as I recall).
