8:57 Blasphemy..!! 😆There is only one chocolate milk that goes well with a danish hot dog and that is a Cocio chocolate milk in a glass bottle. It is drunk cold in summer and warm in winter. Many hot dog stands have them warm in the winter. 😉Lovely vlog btw, thanks for the visit 😊

What is called remoulade in Denmark is unique to Denmark. It is a mixture of (flavoured) mayo combined with a pickle of a kind.

Someone told us you need to eat herring, fried fish and roast beef and in that order- but we kind of went rouge. We had pickled herring in Gdansk a few days prior to this video and werent big fans so we skipped that one. I’ve never heard it called “Italian salad” thanks for that! If you are really "poor" that brunch is really expensive when you get a drink you are actually looking at 200 + kr. Cheaper to go to a local bakery and get a bun with cheese and some coffee. Cheaper yet is 7-11. Especially if it is warm enough to sit outside and enjoy it on a park bench or in the plaza.

Sorry to write this, but I always can't believe how much tourists from America can eat, whether it tastes good or whether these journeys whet their appetite. We in Europe eat 1/3 of these portions and are full.

@@LivaLafay I can say the same about your comment - Who cares about your opinion. It's simply a place for exchanging observations and it's inappropriate to comment on the comments of others, you have something to say about the vlog; good, not good, liked it or not, write it. My comment was just a question in the implicit sense whether they liked the food so much or whether the journey increases the appetite, but if someone tries to attack or doesn't understand, it's better not to write comments.😄

Wow we wouldn’t think that Finland is cheaper, but that’s really good to know. We love all those Nordic spots up there and we’ve only had an opportunity to visit a couple of them and prices. If I remember well DØB makes their own sauces etc. It is high quality food and it is for the hip persons. Normal people goes to joints like Johns
@benjadamon2 ай бұрын
John is famous for making his own sauces as well, that’s what makes it the best hot dog stand in CPH. He has weekly specials and a great selection of sausages. It’s so much better than DØP.
@HeresGoodTravel2 ай бұрын
DØP definitely is for the more on trend person who wants their dog a little more healthy, but Johns is the way to go for me! He actually convinced the woman in front of us to get hers with everything bc he said he makes his own pickles, onions and remoulade. John’s sausage was also better (at least for me) the casing was snappy and the dog had more flavor! Thanks for the comment!
@HeresGoodTravel2 ай бұрын
It’s hard to say that in a KZbin video but I 100% agree but I know there’s people out there who probably love DØP. But I think if I had eaten DØP first, I wouldn’t have tried another- which would have been a travesty to not try johns! John’s all the way! Thanks for watching!

lol we actually could not agree more! If you watch our videos in Japan, Mexico or Poland, we are able to find affordable food in those places. Copenhagen is just so extremely expensive even getting groceries at the store is crazy. It’s like three dollars for a cup of noodles so by Copenhagen standards it is fairly cheap but by our own standards, it is the most expensive stuff on earth.
