We could see how you could have this opinion. It’s hard for us as travelers. We can’t always find the best food everywhere we go, but we did think that Barcelona was beautiful and we were lucky enough to visit in the winter when the crowds were a little bit smaller and it wasn’t quite as warm. Will definitely return though.

Monterrey might have some of the worst food in Mexico. I’m not saying you can’t find some delicious dishes, just that it’s WAAAAAAAAY harder than in pretty much any other state. Not to diss Monterrey, it has many other nice traits, food just isn’t one of them. If you want to taste good Mexican food, go to Oaxaca, to Puebla, to Baja California, to Sinaloa, Michoacán, Jalisco, etc. Pretty much any other place tbh. Even good tacos are hard to find in Monterrey. Don’t get me wrong, they exist, it’s just a pain to find them, and when you do, they are average at best.

I think it was a great decision not to include 7-Eleven, which is gaining a bad reputation among us Japanese lately, in this determine the Convini-King. Lawson and FamiMa(FamilyMart) are safe to use because they do not have the raised-bottom packaging and capacity fraud of 7-Eleven.

新しい種類をたくさん試しました！札幌のバターラーメンはとても気に入りました。でも、とても濃い味噌ラーメンはあまり好きではありません。福岡で食べた細いストレート麺とクリーミーなとんかつスープの方が好きでした

Glad you like this one! All in all we have spent at least a year of our lives in Mexico. We have never for a second felt unsafe, threatened or nervous of being picked pocketed. Our Spanish speaking skills are pretty strong and the only thing we’ve seen is our Uber driver get pulled over and had to pay a policeman for a mi or infraction. We ride the subway in Mexico City and visit very Local markets. That being said, we don’t wear expensive clothes or jewelry and typically stay in recommended tourist zones, especially at night. We won’t go out too late and stick to bars that we know are safe. There is risk traveling all over and we know a friend who was detained in Mexico for drinking in public. We always say to be aware of your surroundings and be respectful in all situations. Basically, don’t start no 💩 won’t be no 💩 😂. Sayulita is INCREDIBLY safe, probably the safest of anywhere we’ve been. And if you have apprehension Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita are the best place to start!

全然関係ない話だけど、駅の中で弁当買うとき迷って時間がかかるなら他の人にゆずって欲しい。時間が余裕ある人ばかりじゃないんだから、他の人のことも考えて行動してください。 立ち食いそばでは長居しないでください。食べたらすぐに店をでてください。暗黙のルールがあります。 外国人の方は香水つけすぎではっきりいってくさい人がいます。

Years ago when I lived in the area I would grab a cup of Old Fisherman's Grotto Clam Chowder and a sourdough roll and go sit on the beach and enjoy. It's a core memory.
