Nice tour!THe Copenhagen mtero opened in 2001 so I belive most of the elevators there are original!The hydro's with "Intelligent levling" have controllers + pump from Hydroware. the people there invented a ventile with servo, allowing abjustment of oil fluid that abjust the speed at will, thus makingt his intelligent levling. Theese were former deve people, and this was invented under the Schindler era. One the comapny were independent they made their own controllers so the elevators would works as supposed. a majority of hydraulic elevators in sweden uses Hydroware nowdays, at least in mods. Denmark have alot as well, as you can see. UK should have a few too (I have not seen an hydroware-controlled elevator having dewhurst - they rather use Schaefer most of the times)

I've been here once in 2010. The metro is really modern and futuristic. I remember the kongens nytorf station.

We have plenty of beeping and talking traffic lights here in the US. More and more pop up too. They're there to help the blind.

I have just returned from Copenhagen and it was great. I tried a few lifts.some of which are this video so it's twice as interesting for me. How much was your trip to Denmark? I feel the need to go again but overnight like you did.

We got two new metro lines now with some deeper lifts if you need a reason to visit again and there are so many old lifts about the city still in use.

@benolifts8 жыл бұрын
+kriskolo2013 That one is a Otis 2000H. These stations opened in 2001 and had proper Otis lifts with chassis. The less deep stations have hydraulics and the others have 2 m/s traction. A couple of them seem to have been modded into gen2s.
@Telfuke-ElevatorFan8 жыл бұрын
@kriskolo2013 The Otis Gen2 is a safety lift, so none open doors before coming to a proper stop.

Oh and you definitely get fined for crossing on a red light here in the US too. Where I live, Arizona its $500. I found it weird that when I went to the UK nobody bothered to follow the law.

Nice to know that (from the look of things) elevators at train stations being dirty, crappy-looking, maybe vandalized or a little damaged or whatever isn't unique to where I am here in Queensland, Australia. At least they have cooler elevators than we have (probably 90% of the elevators on the train network are crap generic Liftronic lifts with even crappier Dewhurst buttons.

+Uphoisting Experiences by Technicalboy3000 Airport security is very weird. They don't allow a lot of stuff. After making sure you are not taking any drinks with you, the air side shops charge stupid amounts for bottles of water. Also it takes a while to get through security. First you put your bags on the x ray conveyor belt. Then you have to walk through a metal detector, then past a geiger counter, then they wipe a ultra violet tracer on your hands to check if you have handled curtain substances in the last few days. Then you have to walk through a millimeter wave scanner which reflects radio waves and this shows up hard objects (such as a ceramic knife, which a metal detector wouldn't show up). Then you can pick your bag up and hope that someone hasn't walked off with your bag. On the way back my bag was fully searched. I didn't take my U key incase they thought it was a knife and I didn't take my drop key either as security will often put items in the bin if they don't understand what the item is.
