And I dont know if you checked out the different street parties there were going on, but they were packed with lesbians at night, as far as I saw. You guys make great shows by the wayyyy

100% agree, I'm living in Denmark for the year and it's definitely one of the most accepting and open places but everyone knows there's hardly anything for lgbt, especially out of Copenhagen hahah. It was such a great day though :)

So many drag queens. I love drag queens. When there is no lesbian scene you could always dress in drag and go out as men.

I don't really know all that much (close to nothing really..) about the gay scene in Denmark, but I do live in Denmark so I know a bit about the country and the people in general I think. :) I honestly think the "issue" comes from Copenhagen (and most of Denmark really) being as accepting and gay friendly as it is. There's not the same need for gay bars, lesbian bars etc. if the country is already very accepting. That "subculture" seems to be more needed in places where there's a lack of acceptance. The gay people that I know usually just go with their friends (most of who are straight) and pick a place based on the place itself, the music, the atmosphere etc. Not based on it being a gay bar or not. I guess that's bound to "hurt" the LGBT club scene etc. but I honestly see it as something positive that gays don't need their own places to "hide" in. That has to be the ideal situation in my opinion. That people simply don't care if you're straight or gay in a bar, in a club or whatever. In an ideal world no one would need clubbing scenes etc. based on something as irrelevant (from a party/drinking perspective) as who sleep with. :P Also, for whatever reason it seems like most bars, night clubs etc. are generally started and run by men, at least here in Denmark. That could obviously be completely different elsewhere. And well.. There just aren't that many *lesbian* men out there... :P
