Copenhagen Yarn Shopping

Hello, and welcome to today's vlog featuring lots of yarn and a few lovely moments from our recent trip to Copenhagen. I visited several yarn/craft shops including Sommerfuglen, Knitting for Olive, and Sostrene Grene.

Hi Orsa. Such a great video. I live in Copenhagen, and it's always nice and very inspiring to see your "own" city through the eyes of others. I think Skall's Magda sweater was originally knitted in the exact yarn you bought at Sommerfugle: Håndværksgarn from Hjelholt. So you might already have yarn for it :)

Perhaps you should visit Odense, also in Denmark. There is more to Odense, than Hans Christian Andersen. The old part of the city and the pedestrian areas are full of things to see, and to do some shopping 🛍🧶 The area around Odense å, is so beautiful and mesmerising, that time just feels like, non existent ❤️

Thanks for your very fine video. I live near Copenhagen but actually i’ve never ben in Knitting for Olive😜 So it was very fun to watch - and I must visit the store soon 🧶🥰 Very nice yarn you bought 👍

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! We had such a great time in the city and loved all the yarn shops. Knitting for Olive is so iconic - and the shop has lots of colours I haven't seen anywhere else. Happy knitting!
