I think the Camille set is beautiful. They would make beautiful gifts as well as the slotted scarf. Thanks for the ideas.

I step in to let you know that you made a little mistake. The Double Knit Scarf is not a free pattern. It costs 5 USD. Love your videos ❤
@OrsaMakes2 сағат бұрын
Thanks for watching and pointing out the mistake! I could have sworn it was free when I made the video. I might have been confused with the sizing.

@@OrsaMakes have an eye on that pattern for a while, if it was free i would have it for a while ^^ but because there other things on my needle I haven’t purchased it yet

Congrats on your engagement! I am also getting married this year and I feel you regarding the white and cream. For the longest time I was very much on the fence about even wearing cream for the wedding... :) I have at least one white garment that is not for my wedding day outfit on my list for this spring...and then I need to make my outfit (which will be low key, but is still work, I guess...)
@OrsaMakes2 күн бұрын
Oh wow! Congratulations to you too :) White and cream can feel intense! I found it so strange when trying on dresses because I'm quite pale but I settled on something ivory. I'm keeping it top secret until the big day. Good luck with your white garment - I'm on the hunt for bridal patterns so do let me know if you find any :)

Yay, engaged, how exciting! Your plans look lovely and would suit you well, I'm sure. I made a Louvre as one of my first sweaters. I wear it often, but only around the house as it streched quite a bit with wear. But that might be my fault. I just think that patterns that start with the collar get like this more often, so maybe it would help to pick up stitches for the collar afterwards. It is a beautiful sweater anyway and you would look great in it!
@OrsaMakes2 күн бұрын
Thank you for your feedback on the Louvre! I'm sure mine will stretch a bit too because the alpaca in the Lima can be tricky - I will have to investigate ways to get it to hold its shape. If not, then we will be matching with our house sweaters :) At least I will feel a bit more chic when working from home!

Hello from Nova Scotia. Thank you for this video. It’s full of inspiration. I’m currently knitting the Maggie Cardigan. I made long sleeves and double knit button bands. Could you please tell e which pattern the sweater you have on is? TIA🌸

Hi, and welcome! The sweater I am wearing is the Sook Moon by Aegyo Knit - it's one of my new favourites and so comfortable! I love the sound of your Maggie Cardigan. I'm looking forward to casting mine on asap :)

I found the Louvre sweater much more elegant and minimalist than the Amy sweater. The Louvre one can pass as casual wear and as more elegant wear. I have two already and love them!
@OrsaMakes8 күн бұрын
I'm always in need of sweaters that I can dress-up a little bit, so I'm definitely leaning towards the Louvre. It's so chic!

Yes to the measurement info please! I always find that information incredibly helpful. When I'm online shopping I sometimes find it frustrating when they don't include the models proportions and the size she's wearing. When knitting, it's not like online shopping where, if an item doesn't fit, you can just return it. But you've potentially waisted SO much time and effort on something that doesn't fit the way you wanted and perhaps, had you known a bit more about the garments fit, you could have made alterations while knitting to get a better fit in the end. Anyway, thanks for the video share. You always bring new patterns to my attention that I've not seen yet and look so pretty. Great place to come for inspo.
@OrsaMakes8 күн бұрын
I will be sure to include my details in my next video description. I feel exactly the same about sizes when online shopping - I'm unfortunately cursed with a completely difference size in tops and bottoms which makes buying a dress super challenging. Thank you for watching :)

Omg congrats on your engagement, so exciting! Are you planning on knitting anything for that occasion? One question, what colour is that lima yarn you talked about in this video? I think it could be the perfect shade of gray for me, thanks!
@OrsaMakes8 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I haven't got any knitting plans yet but I'm on the look out for bridal patterns. Maybe I could make a shawl or a cute sweater for my getting ready outfit :) I love the idea of making something for the occasion. My Drops Lima is in the shade 9015.

Congrats on your engagement! I have just cast on the Maggie cardigan in a cotton yarn as it is still summer here in NZ. It doesn't get very hot though, but I thrifted some cotton blend and wanted to make it. If it turns out the way I want it to, I may make another in a cashmere (also thrifted!).
@OrsaMakes8 күн бұрын
It would be so fab in cashmere! Amazing that you are finding so much thrifted yarn - no luck in Italy on that front. Thank you for the warm wishes :)

I wouldn't recommend the Manon Cardi if you are insecure about your hips. I think it's too boxy and would make you look wider than you are. I always think of your blue Whitmoore Cardigan. This one is so beautiful!🧶💙

Hi Isy! What type of stitch will you use for the triangle scarf? I tried to make one in stockinette stitch, but no amount of blocking prevented it from curling under.

Ahhh this are both so stunning! I just checked out the lulu top on petite knit and it looks like yours is shorter than the one on their pics (it looks like after the increases at the bottom front they knitted straight down for a bit before the ribbing) was that in the instructions or did you decide to cut it short?
@OrsaMakes10 күн бұрын
Sorry for the slow reply! I didn't initially see your message. The gauge for mine was slightly different lengthways so I couldn't make the bottom of mine as long as hers while still fitting my proportions. The final body length from the shoulder to the bottom (including rib) is about 50cm. Hope that helps! :)

Happy new year, love your style as always ❤ I didn't have any 'formal training' but I love wrapping presents too, and people tend to like it when I go for something a little bit more unusual or special 😁. If it's not too much wondering if sometimes you can share some photos on your Instagram of your favourite gifts wrapped

Happy new year! Unfortunately, I didn't record any of my wrapping this year but it's a fun idea for a reel on Instagram. I will think about making one next time I have an occasion to wrap for! I am by no means a wrapping 'expert' but I do enjoy it. I would love to see your unusual wrapping :)

I have been watching all your videos and i have to say everything you do is just beautiful and your choice of color and yarn is just perfect. It shows that you take your time selecting yarns, project and even buttons. It’s nice to see someone who does different things than ererybody else and also do not undertake so many projects at the same time but take her time with each project.
