First time watching. I’ve made 2 tonight tops for my daughter and they are so good that she can wear then under a suit for her professional job. I used Filcolana Anina and Along Alec Anna merino so they are soft,soft,soft. Love watching podcasts with people my daughters age, get lots of pattern ideas. Thanks, have subscribed

In my opinion, you're one of few people that wear black so well. The deep saturated color in some of your new makes just make the overall look very striking, give me a little bit of a girl with a pearl earring style. I can imagine with your fair skin and pink undertone, you'd be able to wear most colors, but neutral/muted colors may not be as flattering as deep saturated colors. ❤

Your knits are amazing. I really like the lulu top you have knitted what I am confused about is you said you knitted it in friends wool and kid silk but when I have looked it is an Aran weight and the pattern asks for DK. I am old knitter but I get very confused when altering these lovely yarns.

Completely agree with you regarding picking up stitches! I used to dread it. I have done it so much last few projects that i dont even flinch now and it's beginning to actually look seamless! Yay! Like with all techniques, I think we just have to *do the thing* to get better! Your Tonight top looks perfect!

I actually own this Hobbii Wool color and it’s incredible. I love mock necks and both of your pieces are gorgeous. I want to make that slipover because I totally agree on what you said about the fit and the ease to wear. I love the top from Lily Kate but I tend to lose steam whenever I pick a project on 3mm needles 😩 I love Milan and yes everyone dresses so chic and I love the fashion energy there. Also 😂I totally agree with living for English summers. They are truly wonderful. I love being in London in summers. I’m not big on hot summers either. Thanks for sharing! I personally find that, in addition to the vibrancy, the temperature of the color also matters. For instance, i have noticed if a color is warm, it can't be very bright (neon) or very dusty, whereas I can pull off dustier and very vibrant cooler shades. It kind of is annoying because pink, reds, and peaches are my favorite types of colors! But I have always loved blues, so I don't feel restricted. None of this stops me from buying pastel yarn, of course 😅
