I know its never easy telling the true inner workings of your thought process! really appreciate you doing so and putting yourself out there for other people! such a positive example to follow. I didnt serve our country but my heart really aches for the troops who have developed C-PTSD or addictions with no help. im not big into reading or watching motivational stuff, something about your story is so unique and interesting. going through all that and still be positive wow 😥

@Chris-farmer thank you, Chris. I always appreciate your thoughts. You bring up a great point about those who serve our country. I do wish more help was out their. And here's the thing... A lot of times help is out their, but at a cost and a cost a lot of people can not afford. For example, I could have never gone to that residential facility if it wasn't for my parents paying a ridiculous amount of money for me to go there. It's really unfortunate bc so many people do want to get help but can not afford to.

@@Mom-ability to be honest I kinda think the addiction programs are a little greedy taking advantage of the needful people. feel the same way about funeral homes too unless its planned out they kinda con you at your weakest moment. always felt like i owed our military something for taking the bullet for us if needed. They deserve better treatment! 💚

This was incredible. I enjoyed listening. It take strength to go through what youve gone through and come out the otherside. 👍

I had two younger sisters that had addiction to pain meds, sadly by age 40 both were gone. You have survived to this point and seeing the blessings in your children and the best is yet to come. You have more people to meet and experiences ahead of you.

@tp5776 Oh no, im so sorry for your loss💔 I can't imagine what that was like for you. It's a real issue that affects so many people and so many different kinds of people. The residential facility really helped me, but that's only bc my parents paid a lot for me to go their. A lot of people want to get help, but can not. I wish it was more available to more people.

@amyprice3661 thank you! Yes, it was certainly something that took time to think about. In the end, I felt like it was important to share. I didn't want to just highlight the good times. I didn't think that was very realistic.💛
