Although Christmas can be a lovely time of year, it can also be really difficult for a lot of people. I've struggled with my mental health since my childhood, so I wanted to make a video to share some of the tips and advice I've picked up about how to cope over the Christmas period. I start by talking about general mental health problems, then in the second part of the video focus specifically on eating disorders.
As with any mental health video, I just want to make clear that this is just things that have been suggested to me by professionals, friends and things I've learnt myself. So not everything will work for everyone, and it's important to follow your own treatment plan and listen to the professionals working with you. But I hope there will be something in here that will help someone this Christmas. And if you have any questions, suggestions for future videos or just need to chat, please do leave a comment.
