Weekly Vlog

Hello and welcome back to another Weekly Vlog (or a big welcome if you're new here!) A brief summary of what you will find in this week's vlog:
On Monday, my antibiotics and steroids seemed to be kicking in and making me feel a bit better. I had a call from UCLH to say the Knee Surgeon wants to see me and then had a call with my GP. Tuesday was an exciting day, as I finally managed to order my Motability car!
We had quite a hectic Wednesday, as we had Noah, Maisie and Bonnie all here! I woke up quite late on Thursday and was feeling very dizzy and faint. But I managed to get some photos taken of Alfie and Mum and I popped over to Costco.
Friday started with a virtual Council meeting. I couldn't keep my eyes open, so when that had finished I fell asleep. In the afternoon I had my hair cut and I also checked on the progress of the seeds we planted. On Saturday I slept until quite late again. I got a few videos filmed and then we had a curry and watched the football. Sunday was a fairly quiet day - I did a bit of cleaning, sorted out my medication and then watched Call the Midwife, as I wasn't feeling well.

Ohh, I’m so happy you got to order your car. If I had to guess I’d say red or black (because of Mickey Mouse!). Sadly I’m not allowed to drive and I don’t yet have any help so I’m not able to have one. I’m being filmed later today as I’m starting up a local support group, I’m a bit nervous, you make it look so easy! Billie.

Would you post an update regarding the car? Found you via Chronically Jenni’s PoTS vlogs. I’ve had but not had diagnosed PoTS since I was 14, I’m 30 in April.

Sorry for the late reply - I haven’t been able to post/film for quite a while due to health. I can definitely do an updated video now that I’ve got my new car - it may take me a little while, as I’m still struggling health wise. But I’ll pop it on my list of videos to make 😊 Sorry to hear you’ve struggled for so long and haven’t been able to access a diagnosis. It’s so hard having to fight to be heard and understood, so sending you lots of hugs xxx
