Copper Creek

Highlights from a four day backpacking trip up the Copper Creek trail out of Road's End in SEKI. The trip was revised due to an off trail navigational error that saw us go up Grouse Pass instead of the intended Kid Pass(always check your maps at the beginning of each day kids-no matter how confident you are in your preplanning and what your eyes are telling you haha) That error-along with drained legs from Day One's climb- gave us pause that perhaps we were meant to scale down the scope and ambition of the trip and scale back. What a wise decision! While not nearly as adventurous, difficult or long this trip will long endure as my most relaxing and perhaps enjoyable. Enjoy!
