Sierra backpacking, Hutchinson Meadow to Franklin Meadow Aug 2024, Day 2

I did the North Lake- South Lake loop through the Sierras. I dilly dallied and hiked slow and took it all in. 54 miles and 10k ft. I tried for 9 days but came out on 7. Oh well. This is day 2, from Hutchinson Meadow, down along the Piute Creek, then onto the JMT along the South Fork San Joaquin up to the base of the switchbacks that head up to Evolution.
