Been planning a trip to the up really want to hit this trail that bridge part freaks me out 😅 you made it look so effortless!

@@ItsssMeRico it's definitely a mind game. They have re-worked it even since this video was posted. Essentially made the gap smaller by a little bit so its easier to clear

Overflow is getting a complete overhaul as of this week. This will probably be one of the last videos of the old overflow.

What!? Thank you for sharing, I hadn't heard that! They better keep the wooden gap. The thing is too iconic to tear down.
@Dialed12 жыл бұрын
Noooo!!! I hope they at least retain the signature Overflow gap and leave Manpants alone.. Do you know any of the details of the changes?

@@Dialed1 Looks like it just reopened today. Pictures look awesome, they are on the Copper Harbor Trails Club facebook page. They left the classic wooden overflow gap, but built a really nice berm and landing. Looks like you can carry way more speed now. @@Dialed1 the remodel is finished, they kept the good stuff. I'll try and get up there for a trail update as soon as I can!

@@CadeDeDoes Nice!!! Good to hear! I’ll be up there this year as well and it’s been my life goal to nail this trail down.

So sick!🔥 As usual, Go Pro does this trail no justice. The Man Pants feature was redone this past weekend & seems like they did their best to close off the far left line by adding some more rocks at the very top. It should make things a bit more interesting for the race next weekend. 🤘✌

I was there this summer intending to ride man pants. Maybe next time, but I was very unprepared for how large it is.

I went to CH last summer and almost nothing was open, so I’m stoked to see trails like Over Flow are open again!

Heck yeah! Trails like Overflow are the reason I even bother to drive up there. The new stuff over on East Bluff is pretty rad too tho!

Awesome, showcase of the grand Overflow! New sub here! It’s obvious you’ve got this trail in muscle memory; Are you racing it this year? I very badly want to do “Manpants”; It’s gotten into my head. Is this feature just a head game? How did you approach this one? Also I hope they don’t change it with the “Remodel”
@CadeDeDoes2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the sub! They kept the bridge gap AND manpants after the overhaul! Man pants is actually super easy, mostly just committing to it, braking into the top and releasing right on the ledge.
@Dialed12 жыл бұрын
@@CadeDeDoes This is great news! Yea the move on manpants seems pretty simple. Are you releasing right at the top, or still feather breaking a bit after the top and releasing right before the drop section? I’m so stoked to get this one in the bag, I’m ready!!!
@CadeDeDoes2 жыл бұрын
@@Dialed1 There is room for error in your braking pattern. Race day it's release once you're past the tree and hold on... But just for a regular run you can brake almost all the way to the ledge then let off and don't brake again until before the right hander.

you made overflow look like a green circle 😅

A lot of that comes from the camera just flattening everything out!
