Nice job! Especially liked the lead vocals and when all the instruments kicked in. The reason some are saying that this song "needs" a mandolin is because we've all grown so used to hearing it that way for all these years. However, if you've never heard Steve Earle's version, this song holds it's own I'd say. Just my opinion ;-)
