There are people charging $$$'s for knowledge such as this that you communicate in these tutorials. My interest is as a hobby not a professional, so paying that kind of money, even though I think it's absolutely worth it if you are thinking of calligraphy as a career or a second activity. In my case, it is not the objective. I became acquainted with the art of Calligraphy many years ago, but my passion has been shared with many other artistic activities and with a family and all the responsibility it entails. Your tutorial has given me the inspiration to try again, this time with a proper guide. In Spain, where I live, I did not find anyone teaching the art of Calligraphy when I first started to became interested. In England and the States, it has been very popular for decades and slowly gaining momentum with the rise of the Internet and social media. I guess better staring late than never. I deeply appreciate your time and effort into making your channel. Brilliant work. 👍🥰

The video was very informative with clear instructions. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. I would be interested in knowing more about the rules around ligatures that are can be created outside the guidelines (ascender/decender letters, entry and exit ligatures)

Wonderful teaching video. It's such a shame that the "f" word is so prevalent in todays language. I wouldn't want my teenage daughter or son having to filter this word out while watching. Your work is beautiful though!!!
