I’ve uninstalled maplestory R after giving it a try for one week. I was half a day late from launch but the few top players are already the top dog and the game get stagnant and bored after a short while. Usually I’ll quit similar game after 1 to 3 days, but since it’s maplestory, I’ve tried my best to stay for a week. 🎉

I thought this might be a nice idle game but no I was wrong doesn’t give any maple nostalgia it doesn’t work as an idle type it’s missing something. I’ll just stick to Maple Story M is perfectly still the best maple mobile imo. But thanks coppersan

I feel like the comments calling it a money-milking machine or comparison against MapleStory M is kinda wrong. First, Maple M is Maplestory but in the mobile version. Whereas Maplestory R is an idle game but with Maplestory assets/animations/mobs, etc. In short, it's another idle game like tap titans or Legend of Slime, where there are infinite upgrades and you either farm resources by idling or speeding up with microtransactions. In short, you can play for free if you want. You only start paying for microtransactions because you feel inferior to the others having higher damage, flashy cosmetics or topping the leaderboards. (Which is the whole point of Idle games and their business model)
