My answer to that dump question is...if DMA and other auditors did not do what they do, I'd still be giving cops my ID if they stop me when I am walking down a public street or sitting in a public park. Thanks to DMA and others, I now know what to say and do when I interact with public servants. Hell, I even know how to file complaints and public record requests.

Yep, i have seen more and more people standing up for their rights over the past decade. Auditors have made an honest, tangible difference in the country. I had to learn the little i know about the law the hard way, in court, but i am glad more and more people are getting educated. Now we just need them all to come out and vote in every election....
@NothingButSilicone8 ай бұрын
I think this is one of those “this is why we can’t have nice things” kind of scenarios. If individuals like this keep this nonsense up, eventually lawmakers are going to take rights away from us, and they’ll have these “auditors” to point at as examples. Auditors are kind of like little kids. They just keep pushing those boundaries. A pathetic life to do this for a hobby, in my humble opinion. Life is great. Why not go climb a mountain, skydive, or white water kayak instead? These auditors just strike me as miserable people. At the same time, I’m aware that they’ve helped spread awareness and have caused minor change in some communities.

👍. That's called excrabrating their paranoia, delusional thinking,and imagining things that are not true. Fabricated statements that are not true can get people in trouble. Dealing with legal BS, copslaining,and ANYWHERE that's public property is available to the public. Any McDonald's technically are public areas if they order food and eat there. If they were actually like private sectors, we'd have to wait to make an appointment,order the food online or in person at any McDonald's,and have to go by their rules and regulations. Must have permission from McDonald's Corporation and the owner of any single McDonald's fast-food restaurant. And be issued a permit. Have legal documents with them,to wear suits and ties,have a decent haircut,and wear black dress shoes. Can't dress in casual clothes. Be dressed in rags,be not clean and small bad. Same thing being in any Walmart where I can legally film and record if I'm having issues and having problems with customer service. I can do that,and there's nothing they can do about it. Can't unlawfully solicitate a criminal trespass by anyone who has a camera exercising our First Amendment. Policy isn't law. Don't need anyone's permission. The government doesn't provide any permits. Can't expect privacy whenever you're in public. Public librarians should know better than to be disrespectful to anyone that's doing nothing wrong. Other than exercising our constitutional rights. That's bad information; this Civil Rights auditor.

You couldn't make this sh*t up to be more ridiculous if you tried. These people are so disingenuous and manipulative. Even if they know you're within your rights, they'll call the cops or encourage someone else to call. They couldn't care less if you have the right to do something. This is like the greatest hits of ignorant things people say when they have no clue about the law. Hilarious and informative. Well done, Chris! Keep standing up for our rights. You are a true champion of the people. 👍

Those security guards are only security guards because they're too stupid to be cops. And that's a frighteningly low bar. 🙄

Cops are uneducated clowns. Anyone could become a cop. All you need is a GED and several weeks of training. Security guards are just as smart as cops, their problem is they don't have GED's. So they become security guards. You keep kicking those boots.

Beth thought she had 'won' that conversation, but for some reason completely nuked internally when she heard "do better". Pretty funny. Her supervisor's face also dropped when Beth wanted to talk with her in the back, the thought of a 30 minute cry-sesh with her would spoil anyone's day.
