if the sgt is on camera basically admitting that the other officer’s incompetency led to a child getting shot to death….HOW was literally nothing done. disgusting
@amelioravictoriadionyssia332325 күн бұрын
Cops are literally not obligated to protect human life. They are only there to protect private property. There was a court case a while ago where cops were sued because they didn't try to save people and it led to injury and the court ruled that cops do not have an obligation to protect the public. Defunding the police would be better than having them around, since they're only about 15% as effective as they need to be. It takes 17 officers to bring the homicide rate down by 1. And they contribute to that number so it doesn't help

Also, there's a kid inside there. When the whole point is to save the kid, there is zero reason to take a blind shot like that, even if the AR guy didn't have a direct headshot.

Yeah, I was pretty pissed off when I first saw this new EWU video, still am. That female sergeant did an impeccable job, but trigger-happy bozos started shooting at a car with a KID in it, from the back, angled on the passenger side where the kid is sitting, from long range with pistols and with no clear shot. The complete incompetency of the cops who didn't follow the sergeant's instructions should be more than enough to get barred from law enforcement forever. But of course, no accountability. That judge can go to Hell too. He too pretty much disrespects the sergeant, and the victims' family by pretending this wasn't a completely botched operation and nobody is at fault of anything...

I was curious if the police actually killed the kid so I went and looked up the autopsy report. More than likely they did not fire the killing shot but I would still consider it the fault of any officer that fired that was not ordered to. Watching the video with no commentary the pistol guys shot literally the second she gave the order to the rifle guy. That triggered the hostage taker to shoot the kid in the head as he had the gun pressed to the side of his head. The report shows that the kid was shot in the head and chest. It doesn't say if it was the side of the chest or center mass but more than likely with the way the department is acting it was center mass. I understand there is no way to determine for sure who struck the killing blow but it is insane to me that the cops who broke the hold order were not punished. The sergeant deserves a medal for how she acted. You can hear the anger and frustration she had with them after it was over.

Edit 2: And YASMEEN, that poor 16 year old… still being conscious means she most likely was helplessly laying there as she watched her mom and the other housekeeper die. Edit 3: Props to the Female Sergeant for giving orders and being so brave with getting that close. It is so very unfortunate that the child was shot and killed but the only person who should be blamed is the officer who unloaded his/her pistol into the car. The sergeant practically says the same thing at 24:27.

wtf is up with EWU? This story could have been impactful without showing the actual footage. At the very least, not the footage of them failing to save a child's life. That line about his brain matter being all over will haunt me. Them starting the video saying "no one was hurt" makes me upset. Because yes, people were hurt, people were killed, it was just blurred. Usually when you open a video and are told there's no footage of a person being harmed, you know that despite how bad shit might be, at least you aren't going to witness a freaking death. I feel like EWU just keeps upping the chaos in their videos and it's not at a good point. Like, all of that footage would have been fine without all of the things they literally had to blur out, so why even keep those parts in? To pad time? To get content? I don't know, but I am wary of watching literally anything they put out now.

It's a pretty typical human reaction... especially when it happens in person, it's a lot easier to judge others when you're not the one in the situation and you may say "well I'd never do this" or something along those lines but theres a chance you would for example. Things are always different when it happens to you in person a lot of the times people try to reason and cope with things by trying to figure out the reason behind stuff. I've done it before by asking why to things with either no answer or an answer that doesn't matter just to deal with it better it's pretty normal
