I was backed into a corner by 2 teachers once in school. I was starting to have a panic attack. I had a IEP(i think that’s what it’s called) and I was in a special English class and the teach had gone off on us cause someone asked a question she started calling us stupid and babies. I was writing out my thoughts in a notebook (which is in my IEP it’s was supposed to be private) the teacher came along and read my notebook and got pissed off even more. I was taken to another room while they brought in another teacher. I was allowed to have my phone to call my mom to help me out of panic attacks. But they refused and I was backed up in a corner and lashed out. The teacher that was mad tackled me to the ground while they contacted my mom. Thankfully due to their mishandling of my IEP my mom was able to get me out of the special class and into regular classes and special ed. The class was a experimental tlc program within my high school it was held in two connected classes and a conference room opposite the class rooms

The fuck is 'the right thing' in her mind, let them do whatever the fuck they're planning to do??? And the hell does she mean "my Rosa Parks moment"?? What irritates me is the fact that in 2024 people still don’t understand that big box stores aren’t privately owned. You MIGHT have been able to have this conversation with the owner of a mom & pop store, but Target is a corporate owned business that controls every last aspect of what happens in their stores, right down to controlling the thermostat from the corporate office states away. Even if the managers wanted to give a discount to the degree that she wanted, I got a pretty good idea that they probably couldn’t. Register software would probably stop them if they tried. IDK who needs to hear this but BIG BOX STORES ARE NOT OWNED BY THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE. THINGS DON’T WORK LIKE THAT ANYMORE AND HAVEN’T FOR AWHILE. The employees don’t make the rules and don’t set the prices. You got a problem? Good luck getting corporate to listen to you. Either way, getting up in people’s faces, yelling, carrying on, and cornering someone in an office still won’t get you what you want.
