How do you guys get away with this? I was merely trying to get away from a tailgater while I was riding my bike and I got a misdemeanor complaint from a cop. He told me that he lets other motorcyclists go when he pulls them over and he admitted to me that he knows cars go faster than the speed limit. He told me not to ride a motorcycle if I can't go the speed limit at all times; even when I'm being tailgated. I mean shouldn't the tailgater get ticketed for tailgating a motorcycle?

They'll shut down miles of road for a marathons, concerts, bicycle events, food festivals, parades, politicians/celebrities funeral perception, or fireworks display. But absolutely NO MOTORCYCLE EVENTS, and if you want 200 or 2,000 motorcycles to get through an intersection without someone dieing, you HAVE to block cross traffic. The Green light is only on for ~30 seconds and you're not getting 500 bikes through in that little amount of time. It's really all about safety at the end of the day, despite what BS most police departments or politicians might say.
