Cops: find a two year old's foot in the remains of a home after dark with flashlights. "it was a little creepy" *ya fucking think?*
@paulcollyer801 Жыл бұрын
1st story; there are two smells, maggots & decomp, that when you know them you never forget them. Decomp is a persistent, permeating odour that is hard to lose. I feel for you, even though I can tolerate both smells relatively easily. (Got home after one who was at least 6weeks deceased, partially mummified, went home via supermarket to get washing pods; 3 in the machine followed by full stripdown into machine, & a long shower)

You could get died for pulling someone over for speeding. There are a lot of cases like that. I remember one instance from a year or so ago where a new officer pulled a guy over, who was wanted for dealing, and I think some violence, the officer didn't know about the warrant or the guy's past offenses. The guy gets out of his truck with an AR after the officer goes to his squad car to check the guy's plates and stuff, the officer was not expecting it and ended up getting shot by the guy with the rifle as he fled into a field. The guy was later cornered by more officers and was taken down in a shootout. But yeah, it can be a pretty dangerous if not disturbing job sometimes. For the most part it's a pretty boring job, from what I've heard, lots of paperwork.

Petition to replace “Creepiest” in the thumbnail to “Nastiest.” Damn I expected spooky urban exploration type stuff with the obvious crime elements, not straight up gore or the likes. Good lord! Bless the people that have iron stomachs and go out there being brave, I’d be gagging and losing it over the unfortunate circumstances.

Body in the oven: why didn't they leave the body be if it was clearly dead? How were they to know the circumstances of the death? It might have been a suicide, but it might have been a homicide. Leave the scene as is and get in detectives and the coroner. (Says the "First 48" fan.)

Didn't know her. Maybe she was a particularly bad crime scene. Bad partner maybe. Googled her. Turns I did know her case. And I wanted to forget that case. Regret. In all seriousness these types of videos really do reveal the humanity behind the uniform. And the absolute horrid things cleanup crews have to go through aswell.

0:44 that must have been hell for that guy. He lost both of his sons to a terrible freak explosion/fire and his wife was “down the street with another man” while he’s just trying to play poker. He lost his kids and most likely his wife in the same day. Poor guy I hope he is doing good.

6:17 is this about the FarmVille murders? Syko Sam? Also the worst thing I’ve ever seen in the crime scene pictures of the MH17 crash, which you can find online. It was a plane that was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur in India, when the plane flew over Russia it was shot down. Everyone on the plane died and the crime scene photos are of the bodies, there is one picture where it looks like a body crashed into a house leaving a hole in the roof but that definitely wasn’t the worst.

This video is evidence enough that what the police are being asked to do in their role is far too much. We need to divert some of the funds into new programmes that allow the police to focus on a smaller set of specific tasks, and erect well-trained teams of community officers for wellness checks and mental health services. We're asking too much of the police as it is -- it's a wonder any of them can cope.

My dad's cousin was found in his house after being dead for nine months. We used to go to his house regularly when I was much younger. He was previously married but had gotten a divorce and became a recluse after he and his wife had a baby that died. He was located in a tiny town a few hours from where my dad lived; incidentally, my dad ended up being buried there as well instead of where dad lived.

My fresh out of the academy partner and I responded to a radio call of a landlord/tenant dispute. We get there and the landlord says the tenants haven't paid their rent and she wants them out. I explain that isn't how it works (she needs to evict them) but we'll talk to them just to make her happy. We knock on the door and the tenants invite us in. They are two transsexuals, but not the super feminine kind. These two are built like dock workers, have full 5 o'clock shadow and breasts made of caulking silicone. Not exactly fashion models. While I'm talking to them my partner is scoping the place out, making sure there is no one and nothing we need to be concerned about in the immediate area. He looks in a half open closet door and something catches his gaze. Not in a "aw shit!" sort of way but in a "what the hell?" sort of way. Anyway, I talk to the two and they say they paid. They've even got the carbon copy of their money order to prove they've paid. Seems like the landlady just wants them out so she's saying she didn't get the rent. I advise the two to hold onto the carbon copy and see if it gets cashed. I walk to where my partner is standing just to see what he's so fascinated by. I look into the closet and see, hanging from a rope, a 12" long doubled ended dildo. I give my partner a "so what?" glance and we leave. I talk to the landlady and tell her, politely, that I know she has the check and she might as well cash it as the two tenants have the carbon and aren't going anywhere. She turns bright red and says "do you know what they are doing in there!!!" I tell her "lady, I'm not paid enough to even contemplate what they are doing it there, but their rent looks paid to me so that is that." We get back out to the car and my partner has this stunned look on his face. He says "was that a..." and I cut him off. "Yeah, it was. This is LA, you are going to see weird stuff and you are going to meet weird people. Do your job, do it fairly and we can laugh our asses off once we are in the car."

Floaters bodies that are found in swamps rivers lakes oceans and your septic system by far is the worst. But when people are hanging as they raw at the stuff falls off. But definitely floaters because when you go to pick him up to remove them you better have the bag underneath in the water with you because it's going to fall apart on you.! It is pretty bad but when you smell the smell of rotten flesh and burning flesh you're never forget it.
