OK when I was in the 8th grade I worked in a sanitarium down by mall 205 in Portland why so persise in my description? Because I want you to understand I'm real. We would except Inewit Native American from Alaska and places further north. All mean as mean as they come, but when one of them got their paws on you you would soon be in a world of hirt. It wasn't their intent to hurt anyone but they could and would. Just like my intent was not to hurt them but I would. The state sent an investigator and the head nurse was able to position the inspector near the meanest and strongest patient. It took me no end of conjoling but the gripe relaxed.

Several cops nearby appear on the scene. That is absolutely standard procedure with all types of incidents. Then they stay until it is resolved. Try being reasonable and not criticize them when they do nothing wrong.

@@harrythej9683 There's a lot of reports and other stupid info police have to fill out. Thats why it's important to attend Council meetings so that you can hear all the stupidass spending, waste, going on in your community and as you can see, Mentally ill on drugs is still a problem that hasn't been improved. Wrapping someone up and throwing them in the back of a copcar and threatening them with charges when their mentally ill goes to show that THE TRAINING WAS A WASTE OF TAXPAYER MONEY or THE COPS ARE NOT FOLLOWING PROCEDURE and need to suffer consequences like other people who fail on the job.

@@DrivingSue I might just not be knowledgeable om procedure, but everything looked exactly like I would have expected this to be handled. She is restrained as not to be dangerous to herself or others. This is safer than handcuffs and I don't see anyone explaining what else should have been done. Paramedics are not expected to deal with dangerous people. I can see no wrong here.

@@asueft Maybe you want to consider that all of this equipment is being used to protect her from herself. It has nothing to do with spitting. If she harms herself while being detained, they are liable. Straight-jackets exist for the same reason.

This woman used to live in my apartment complex she would always bring homeless people and drug addicts to my complex and break furniture she had all the help she was given social workers they would come to try to help her and she would kick them out until they eventually got tired of her behavior after a year. She had no respect for her neighbors she would fight with the people she would bring in, play music all night, and steal other tenants stuff.

Seems like she is a drugged up criminal who is almost as bad as George Floyd. You can see how she was yelling at the cops and was high like a kite. This was a textbook arrest and no excessive force was used, just police doing their jobs and taking the trash off the streets. Do you know is she is in jail or what ended up with her? Paramedics probably were called in later after she was put into a body bag, but this is essentially the job of the cops to arrest and subdue a belligerent unruly individual. Paramedics may assist, but cops are the ones who arrest criminals, they are the ones who have powers of arrest, paramedics don't. Cops handled this situation really well. What else should they do when someone they are trying to arrest is resisting arrest, non compliant, high on drugs, banging inside a police car, spitting and screaming? Give her flowers?

WHERE ARE THE MEDICAL PERSONNEL? Shouldn't a Medical unit be called in a situation like this? They have her on the hot asphalt and hands cuffed behind her back. This is a recipe for disaster. Now they are covering her face with a bag. They are not trained to handle mental breakdowns. So, they are taking her to jail instead of having a Medical Unit pick her up? Medics are TRAINED to handle PATIENTS.

What will be insane if they grabbed an Auditor (for recording the police)and place him in that restraint suit, put a spit mask on his head, and put him in a hot car with no AC for retaliation reasons. LA County sheriff dept in City of Commerce in the East Los Angeles area stripped a Transgender woman naked and had her in a hot police car exposed for an hour with no AC after having an altercation with a Fire Marshal and 3 security guards.

If people don't want this treatment they need to stop this kind of behavior. All of you who are sitting here being armchair quarterbacks probably never have dealt with mentally disturbed or violent people like this or violent criminals trying to hurt or kill you.I would like to see how you anti-cops would deal with violent people coming at you with a gun,knife or anything else that could end your life or injure you severely.While you are all thinking about being "nice" and "pc correct" to a criminal you are going to end up dead!
