I'm not a cinematographer but always feel so inspired when I watch those (and I hate to use such an overused word but...) cinematic videos. I'm learning a little at a time, and I too have enjoyed Riza's vlogs. I also really love shows like the Handmaid's Tale, which tell you SO much, and convey so much emotion with a million small stylistic choices. It's amazing. I want to learn that. I think what you've done here is great. I dunno if it's of interest to you, but I bet people would love it if you taught them a little of what you know, in my case, especially lighting and colour grading (I've tried doing my own and always just end up using LUTs). Anyway, good job. :)

I have heard soo much of about Handmaid’s Tale so since you are another person who enjoyed it I really gotta bump it up on my to watch list. I liked filming that because for me it was a metaphor for life sometimes we anticipate things to go one way but then that one thing does not pan out, which was a metaphor for my dad’s health. One day everything just changed and I know it was subtle in the video but that’s what I had in mind when filming that part

Thanks so much for noticing :D I hope you like the color grade! It honestly is nothing crazy at all, I am not a colorist nor will I ever claim to be lol BUT I just did a pretty simple REC709 LUT on my BMPCC6K footage and tweaked the saturation,contrast and exposure to get something that I thought looked cool :D how do you do your color grading? also I used DaVinci Resolve for both editing and color grading this video :)

Which lut do you use for grading ??

I actually just used the the Arri Rec 709 LUT then did some edits to contrast and saturation with some film grain added on top :) nothing crazy
