I finally decided to start making treats for family and friends. S__es candy is just out of control with pricing. Don't want to discount anyone and I sorry for saying it. Thank you for posting. Bordeaux has always been my favorite. Ever had Sees Bordeaux syrup? They quit making it twentiesh years ago. I suppose it would be successful by making this recipe with less powdered sugar.

I see no wiping down the sides to avoid crystallization, and by looking at it, I don't see any issues with not doing that. That said, yesterday, I followed almost the exact recipe by another KZbinr, and my end result was a slight crystallization of the brown sugar mix. It was not creamy, and although the taste wasn't terrible, I really didn't like its texture. I like the look of your mix though.

I struggle with my sugar syrups crystalizing, but I also live in a really dry area. I think places that have normal humidity dont deal with this as much
