Ooooo 😯these look delicious!! I will have to make them for Christmas 🎄Bordeaux is one of my favorites of See's Candies. I've never seen a copycat recipe for them. They look worth the effort. Coincidentally, I just bought a box of See's today! Our local mall opens a See's store only between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so you know I had to get a box because they're my favorite chocolates😍 Thanks for sharing your recipe ❤

Sure, 😍you will Love these!!! These are very easy to make. The skewer is the easiest route. I wanted to show by hand for those who don’t have other devices to use. The only time involved is setting them in freezer. One hour instead of 2 could work. My refrigerator in garage is colder. They r much much cheaper to make as you know how expensive they are. These taste even better than the real ones. Very delicious 😋 During the year when you can’t buy them or even when you can, these r amazing and with just a few wholesome ingredients, no preservatives! Let me know when you make them ❤️

I'll let you know when I make them and text a photo. Some years I make chocolates with a peanut butter filling and/or Oreo truffles covered with white chocolate. I made the Oreo ones last year and they're so good. It takes time to dip them but worth the effort.

This candy homemade is better than See’s. I did the sprinkles 4 the video, but make it without them, as they r not really needed for flavor. These r super simple, but great they r cooked, even if a short time. They r definitely worth making! Nice to see you here. Iowa seems like a remote place. I think of cornfields 🌾😊

They would be dressed in their white and black trimmed outfits. But I never saw very many people buy the candy. I haven't seen them in the mall for about the last seven years. The cost of giving out so much free candy, I guess was just to great. I guess they just gave up.

Hi there! You absolutely do NOT need a candy thermometer! This recipe is very user friendly so to speak. It just needs to be cooked exactly how I show, the 2 minutes at the boil and then another 30 seconds with the addition of the cream. It’s a very simple recipe. I made this after this video again. The second time I did not use the sprinkles. Doesn’t need them, but for the traditional way, I used them. These in my opinion are better than the actual See’s candy. Also, much cheaper. See’s candies are definitely our favorite, but they have become very pricy. Don’t be intimidated by this recipe, it’s very easy!! Let me know how you do. These r amazing tasting. They r my favorite! I also have a peanut butter candy I made after these. Those r even easier, because you don’t cook. They r both delicious! 😊

I just successfully made toffee but i used a thermometer like the guy on KZbin because it had to reach 300 degrees to work and he explained stuff like rapid boil vs boil. but i will just watch what your boil looks likke. @@OrioleBeagle Hi there! No, not at all. This literally is a copy cat recipe of See’s. They do not put any preservatives in their candy. All wholesome ingredients. These are really delicious and you don’t have to add the sprinkles. Those r more for looks😊
