Sooo beautiful I'm still playing my DVD of this movie. Another under rated movie. Such gifts he left us with all his compositions

Still i think this scene is the best scene of Copying Beethoven

I love Beethoven, but this part should be called "Copying Amadeus"! Identical scene.Still,it's beautiful.

Well, I would offer this: He also deserve such an ending, those fine words to describe his music and the end of his life. I don't disagree with you, but I think the scene makes justice to his heavenly music.
@cjc47652 жыл бұрын
@@wertherland I just meant that whoever made the movie copied that scene. It’s obvious. I wish they would have done something different. Beethoven is my favorite composer so I wasn’t bashing Beethoven. On the contrary I think he deserves better

I doubt both Beethoven and Mozart were conventional humans . . . each were guided by Angels in their work. Matchless scene from an excellent movie!

the best is director Agnieszka Holland from my country Poland hehe. And the best scene is the concert of 9th symphony.

The beethoven "piece" is Op. 132 Quartet in A minor, 3. Molto adagio. The emerson quartet play it very well.

what specific piece is this in this scene? i really would love to know

I like how he goes from "notes" to "pictures".. but yall right, it's too similar to Amadeus' ending.

if I could make a movie about beethoven starring ed harris it'd take place in a spaceship. If I could reshoot this particular scene, beethoven would be dictating notation to houston from outerspace and most importantly of all there wouldn't be any music because sound doesn't travel in space.

Ripped off from Amadeus. I take it as an homage to the immortal "Confutatis" writing scene...

You can't go wrong with Beethoven; Unfortunatley that can't be said for all the films about him. This appears to be sufficiently inconsistent.

Quite the contrary. Neither Amadeus or Copying Beethoven are based are 100%( or 50% for that matter) true facts. This scene is plagerism at its best. Or is it that all composers should dictate( on their deathbed)to someone they trust or music will become a "dying art"? You must also believe that Mozart was murdered by Salieri? Is it a nice scene? Yes! True? I'm not buying. I have a bridge for sale. I'll give you a good price.

Don't care about historical accuracy here. The scriptwriter nailed the dialog in this lovely scene!
@cjc476510 ай бұрын
@@Borzoi86 You mean he plagiarized it. This ending is the exact same ending as in the movie Amadeus. How about the scriptwriter writing his own original ending instead of "Copying" Amadeus? Capisce?
