@Sockaci Yea about the atheist thing, he seemed a little spiritual as while he didn't seem to subscribe to any man made religion, he emphasized spiritual matters such ego death. Probably he was more of a guy who believed in the capabilities and mysteries of the human consciousness, its just sad that we won't get to fully know his thoughts. I have artists that I adore, but none of them are even close to Eyedea. That is why this loss, atleast for me, is just so shocking.

@OctopusFetish It's not exctly the same, I mean, Eyedea and Copy weren't exactly enemies, and there was no beef. As far as this being a publicity stunt, we genuinly do not know, I really hope it isn't; Eyedea is a huge inspiration to me, but i've "known" pete for a while now, he's definitely not the asshole that he comes across as in T.H.E. High Exhaulted. And as for Cage, he's fucking dope, I listen to MFTB as much as DFM, can't wait for a new album! Peace Octo!

@PopularityTroll If by CW you mean Copywrite. Then you sir, have been mis-informed. CW & Cage, if anything, USED to be close friends (hanging out, going on tour, collaborating on tracks, etc.) In fact, calling them bestfriends is hilarious, especially since their was video footage of CW giving Cage a beat-down months and months ago after or before a show. Sure, CW was throwing down like a bitch, but it was a legit physical attack on Cage. Best-friends dont give eachother beat-downs.

@FloatingGrain hes not a dueche just for saying somethnig about the christian religion, but he came out with this tribute very quickly after eyedeas death was published and Eyedea did make it apparent he didnt believe in an afterlife, infact his last album with abilities made that quite obvious in the lyrics. All I'm saying is it is a little arrogant or at least the wrong time to assert these beliefs onto a man's memory. His lyrics showed Death as the reason life was worth living.

@scrEYEB Well? I don't see how im supposed to find what rhymesayers said about this.. Can't find it anywhere. Beleive me CW knows about drug problems, he had hs own, and he is one of Cage's best friends, one of the biggest druggies in rap.. No right to make a track? Again, Rhymesayers and Weathermen are have friends amongst themselves, so I don't see how he had NO right, in fact, anybody that liked his music had the right to. And don't get me wrong, Eyedea is definately top 5 for me.

@eorsuttin Word, this tribute, while maybe it meant well, to me, some of it just seems totally wrong. The God and heaven references are too simple and Eyedea probably didn't subscribe to such limited beliefs, he used to say stuff like this.

I dont like copywrite at all, i think he is truly a douche bag, but what is wrong on dedicating his song towards a legendary mc such as eyedea? i thought that was actually respectful from him to say the very least.
