Can the under tie strap be fed through a buttonhole in the waistband and then wrap to tie as I’d like?

I am not sure what you mean by “under the strap.” The back piece has pieces that come around to the front and connect. then the front of the skirt has ties wrap around the waist. Does that make sense?

Help me understand how a waist line of 54 (I’m trying to drop pounds) I do not want the string bit. Can a short tie lay under the front skirts. How wide and long for size 32? Help. I’ve got Parkinson’s and live in a wheelchair, so my hems are odd.

There are two options for closing the skirt in the front. One uses a D-ring for a less fussy finish. I don’t have the pattern out at the moment, but I can check later on the sizing for a 32.

Your voice is breaking up. I hem large skirt while it’s flat. Pre hem.
