Hi. I am looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment in Coquitlam, which is close to skytrain station, grocery stores, malls etc. I am a professional with no pets and a non smoker. It will be my first move to Canada, maybe in August end this year, so looking to rent a place on month-to-month basis for initial months. Hope to hear from you soon.

Moved to Coquitlam in 1985, then moved to Port moody in 1990. Now I have moved to the Sunshine Coast. Still enjoy Town Centre Park, and T&T market when I visit Coquitlam.

Top two reasons: you speak Korean or Farsi (regarding Coquitlam Centre Mall area). Pluses and minuses. You decide. I lived there for years. Good public swimming pool. And there are really two Coquitlams, the one near the mall and the one near the historically (but no longer, more Arabic spoken) Francophone Coquitlam near Malliardville.

Great video... I visited Coquitlam back in 2011 and stayed in a home on Alouette drive which I’ll never forget! Loved it. I’m 33 now and work for the local authority (tourism) and my other half is an accountant... would love to know if there are many jobs over there and if the other half would be able to adapt to the Canadian Tax/Vat rules etc that he deals with at his work....

This looks like the perfect city for me to move to. I don't drive, so the transportation options are great..and I love nature, and the trails look so beautiful. I also love the French language, as I studied it in school. Unfortunately, I'm from the States and middle-aged, and the chances of me being able to move there are nil. 😥 Thank you for the video, though. ♥️

I thought Coquitlam was expensive when I left in 1996, I can't even imagine how expensive it is now! Wow!! The entire lower mainland cost became out of sight! I can't even imagine living there now unless you're making well above $100K/year! Good luck! Lovely community, but I don't understand what businesses around that area that can support that high of a cost of living! You can't just have a city fully of attorney's and Doctors...LOL

Thanks very much for your information, I love the city, please what is the main language that they use in school, please I want you to speak about schooling, child support, day care center, care giver work, because I am nursing care giver, construction work, and salary, I want to know if there will be good for family, thanks 😊,GOD BLESS YOU.
@bcprimerealestategroup57294 жыл бұрын
The main language is English. Coquitlam and Tri-Cities ( Port Moddy + Post Coquitlam too) offer English and many French immersion for all ages too. There are also specialty school programs with program of choice, Mandarin language program, Montessori, etc. As Canadians, there is a great support system from the government to several levels of income. That includes help with daycare payments and with afterschool programs contributions. We need good caregivers, id doesn't pay much here but it is a need. Construction is everywhere and many positions offered all the time. I will make another video to cover the topics you asked :)
