Great Video Craig, we bought a House in the New Horizons hood in 1983, 80K, 11% interest, back when the Westwood track was still hosting weekly races. Sold that 5 years later and bought a house in Port Moody, Barber street, on 1/4 acre, inlet view, wanted the boys to go to Pleasantside elementary nearby, the House was a wreck, 2 inches of water in the basement, leaky roof, but I was young and put a lot of sweat equity into that property, solved the problems, later added on another thousand sq feet of living space.

Thank you a lot for this content! I'm interesting in finding "walkable" places, for my wife and I. We'd like to find an apartment that's well place, near caffees and if possible, stores and the supermarket. Would that be Central Coquitlam, right?

Hi, Ricardo. Thanks for watching. Are you looking to rent or buy? Yes, Central Coquitlam would be good. Anything around the Coquitlam Centre, City of Lougheed would offer what you're looking for. The Burquitlam neighbourhood is also burgeoning with great proximity to amenities.

As I watch this in Houston Tx, it is 98F or 36C outside and 74F or 23C in Coquitlam BC. It's a little after 4pm Central time here. 🥵🥵🥵

We used to start 2 a day football practices in August. I think I would have enjoyed your 2 a day swim team practice more😅@@LivingInVancouverBC

It's 8:45 pm in the evening. The outside temp. is 97F. Inside with the air conditioner running it is 80F. Outside in Vancouver it is 79F. it's cooler in Vancouver than inside with A/C in Houston. If you're wondering about my interest in Canada, I have 2 ancestors who were married in London, Ontario in 1854. My Dad who was born in Detroit served for a while in the RCAF in WW2. Before he went to fly "the Hump" over Northern Burma, he delivered planes from Canada to the UK and also to Alaska once he got back into an American uniform. My parents made a point to visit Vancouver and Calgary in 1984. I always got a chuckle that my dad, the pilot, was always amazed that the cities he had seen 40 + years earlier had all changed so much.😜 @@LivingInVancouverBC
