Desde la primera vez que escuché Solo Dios Sabe Si Vuelvo, la versión que sale en una lista de reproducción en soundcloud del Sacred Valley Tribe, luego pasé a la versión en KZbin con sonajero que hizo Sacred Wisdom Collective, hasta que me decidí por colocar aquel video que decía Coral Rojo y tenía 5 personas en blanco y negro, he estado encantado y conectado de una manera tan espiritual con este grupo, que me gustaría mucho escucharlos en una ceremonia de Yagé acá en Colombia. Por otra parte, Camila y Silvio me parecen un dueto muy cargado de fuerza, ternura y mucho espíritu. Se siente tan sanadora la experiencia de escuchar a estos nuevos artistas con esta nueva intención de música medicina. Qué belleza de verdad, me quedo corto en palabras. Sigan así muchachos! It is your waters that give life to my people Ah those who sprout from my eyes sadly because in my homeland, they don't sing to the water anymore are the ones that sprout from your eyes Pachamama and they make green in my tiger creek. Full of joy dances death by my side Chuma little drunk paints yari people four brave otorgons arrive at the party the blue glow of the white flower rises in the sky red path God only knows if I'll come back. It's very poetic so it might sound a bit strange. Also there're some words that might come from a very locally specific spanish.

I have this curious attachment to these songs (despite not understanding them) because it seems to me that they're speaking of and trying to draw a certain memory or a place that's been long gone, stolen, or wiped away. Or, perhaps I'm just projecting my people's colonial experience and obsession with reclaiming our indigenous identity 😅 Either way, these are such beautiful songs by extremely talented artists!
