Coral Springs Fire Department, FL customized their Velocity cab with several ALS medical compartments and front forward facing seats that do not have air pack brackets, all air packs are on the exterior of the truck. The No Pump No Tank aerial body stores specialty rescue equipment but still has firefighting capabilities, equipped with a CAFS system.

no packs in the seat by choice ??? now i have to put my pack on at the scene to even be able to pull a line

A lot of departments are going to the "clean concept" which means no packs in the rig and no bunker gear post fire IN THE RIG either. If you are in the service then you are aware of how high the cancer rates have been over the last few years. Those options that Pierce and other companies are using can make a difference IMHO.
